Slugo rat is quite happy to sit in my hand and make goo-goo eyes. He is the most relaxed rat of the bunch. I suppose it as more to do with us getting him when he was so young and his getting used to us handling him.
You can see compared to earlier posts that Slugo rat has grown quite a bit.

such a little cutie-pie your fur-babies are so adorable
he is so incredibly handsome. i bet my girls would be all over him (tho i would never let them get that close since they are still intact.) give him some extra smoochies.
i don't think he looks grouchy, i think he looks adorably friendly and cuddly...it makes me miss my babies while i'm half a world away >.<

Is his fur changing on you? Wasn't he a lot balder before?
He is pretty much the same as far as amount of hair as well as coat length variations (he's what is called a double-rex, and has natty hair kind of like the soft part of velcro...it is longer from his hips back, very short in the middle to neck area, and medium around neck and face...) but the color, you're right, it's changing around the head, getting a darker grey!
